Hartlepool didn't seem too bothered to let him go.
Hardly flourished without him.

Even when he's having a bad game, Holohan never shys away. He had a bad one against Sutton recently but never stopped asking for the ball. I have a lot of respect for that.
Agree with others that's he's underrated too. Has that knack of ghosting into the right positions in the final third, although obviously has some technical limitations.

yet he's the only midfielder we have who consistently turns up with goals and assists. ( and has done since the day he signed here) He is very underrated
Has been known to slot in an important penalty now and then too......

One things for sure, Artell's shopping list is a little shorter than we all thought a few weeks ago. One or two of the players really starting to show what they can do.

funny really that there is recent criticism of Harry and Holohan and yet Hunt had a stinker at the weekend and no-one has hardly mentioned it
I think it’s more that people realise hunt is a creative player who will more often than not unlock teams if he has a run of games and the managers confidence, and he’s done just that in the previous games to Newport, who, basically bullied him and he struggled to have his usual effectiveness. He’ll hopefully learn from the game and improve his decision making in that type of game or the manager will play a different set up.

| I was there, the day Bradley Wood scored a 35 yarder!

I wonder if there's a scenario that means we won't see much movement in January 1) I think January is generally regarded as not the best time to be recruiting players for the long term 2) Artell has only had a limited amount of time to work with the existing players and to work out what he might need 3) He keeps saying about how pleasantly surprised he's been with what he's inherited. 4) he's further said that he's also been very pleased with their willingness to take on board his approach 5) it would appear that we are pretty safe from relegation, so he almost has a 6 month 'free hit', especially with our benign ownership 6) We can see how a number of players have improved within a couple of weeks; how good will those players (& others presumably) look by the end of the season? 7) with Khouri, Efete & Vernham becoming available, that's almost like 3 new signings 8 ) maybe , by keeping his powder dry, and his budget tight, he will get a lot more bang for his buck in the summer Having said all that he'll probably get rid of 8 and get 7 in

All good points:- plus 9) No extra cup games this year to stretch resources 10) Stated need for some players to leave to make room for incomers.

Possible plus - the way our youth are going could we see some appearances off the bench - at least for Cam? With the ship steadied I’m expecting a quieter window. But as a minimum we surely need cover for Rose and at CB, which could be half season loans given the recent progress.

Yeah thats what I think, we've improved in lots of areas, but the need for reinforcements at CB and striker are just as glaring.
