In the summer the owners were praised for giving players 2 and 3 year contracts something which generally doesn’t happen at League 2 level. Looks like a rookie mistake now.

Huge mistake giving long contracts to a players especially Vernham the guys a walking sicknote he was last time he was here they could be a half a million pound mistake for a three year deal.
Any new players DA signs need to be taller than the midgets Hurst used to sign.

Often said that size isn’t important but one of the major differences between the sides yesterday was how much physically stronger Harrogate were and that allowed them to win every one on one challenge. Amazes me, after listening to PH’s interviews last season on how we lacked height, that this was not addressed during the summer. It was probably ironic that Alan Pouton was the guest yesterday exactly the type of player we require.

Heard the same. Maybe can’t stand the heat.

At the very least reporters should ask this and about one out one in policy muted by AP.

Maybe not liking running the club when the stars don’t align like in years 1&2 when they did just that.

I think I'll wait until someone without an axe to grind hears the rumour before making a judgement.
