In no particular order;

Wimbledon away in the cup.
Southend away on that wet friday night - I didn't get a medal for that one either.
Stoke away even though I wondered if we'd ever get out alive.
Liverpool away in the FA cup, on the Kop ditto Stoke away.
Not being able to watch the last 10 mins of the Exeter (h) game when we went up. Typical town, boss a match then try to loose it.
Newcastle away when Dobbin put that one in the top corner in the last minute, ditto Stoke away.

Best of the lot;

Futcher scoring the screamer against Boston in the Lincs Cup.

It's been said before but nostalgia just ain't what it used to be.

It was Ian Turner's debut.

Indeed - I was 8 and couldn't understand why Harry wasn't in goal, at 2-0 I felt the world was imploding and it was all Turner's fault. Of course he turned out to be super keeper and won a FA Cup winners medal in 1976 for Southampton who beat some minor club that has since gone out of business - I think they were replaced in the League by an American outfit.

Ian Turner was also a useful outfield player and played up fron for Town during part of an away game at Bournmouth that was on Match of the Day - he'd injured his hand but Town had already used their sub so Lawrie Mac put up front rather than go to 10 men - can someone remember who went in goal?

Sussed.

However, the NAAFI in Iraq was quite dodgy

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Travelling down to Brighton for a night match, think we where 3 - 0 down after 20 odd minutes??  and Cockers sent off, mate got thrown out for "suggestive behaviour" was it you Moosey???
Reckon there was only 20 ish town fans

The first game of the season at Preston and how bright that plastic pitch was, 90 minutes of squinting!!

The Stoke away game at the Victoria Ground where they invaded the pitch

Newcastle away & Dobbins goal

winning promotion against Exeter at home 14,000 crammed into BP

losing 5-0 to West Ham in the old second division, stood on a milk crate in Constitution Corner

If all the cars in England were placed end to end on a long road, some sharp object in a Type-R would still try to pass them

Ivano Bonetti's celebration after his goal against the Baggies. Just about the only time I've heard ALL the home fans shouting a players name. Still sends a shiver down my spine now thinking about it.

Being 6-0 up against Darlo at half time (and losing the second half 2-1) (1979)

Gordon Walker somehow extending his leg Inspector Gadget style to score on his home debut in 1968. Even he was surprised. First in 1000's of false dawns over the last 40 odd years..

The famous "Roly Godfrey favourite goal ever" against Huddersfield in 1990 scored by Cockers.

Alan Woodward scoring in the Pontoon end against York in 1970 with a flying volley from about 15 yards from a cross.
