Yeah, seem to recall getting my nose and front tooth broke in there but as I told my mum slipped on the beer covered dance floor and was just unlucky!!!

You shouldn't have flipping bothered son Bet I'm nearer correct than all the rose tinted folk on here It's painfully obvious Shutes needs funding, his interest is in reviving the town generally, not owning and backing a football team so although GTFC plays a major part in the life of the town he is not going to pay off Fenty in used readies from his personal funds (even if he could which if Fenty is asking a silly price he probably couldn't anyway)

My original point was that finding someone with the wonga and who is willing to buy a Div 4 club in a run  down stadium is not going to be easy and that such an investment would be regarded as 'daft' by most millionaires. (ask JSF)

Received wisdom was he did tell the truth. And look what it did to the company!

As for the second part, about not wanting anyone representing the club to lie, you're not telling me you're not clever enough to realise that that sometimes it's better to say nothing? I don't believe you're stupid for one minute. You're just being provocative as usual.

The man's primary role is to ensure we're all safe inside BP. He clearly failed in that last season against Port Vale, then he goes and takes it out on the innocent by stopping them having a drink in the club bar!! And the sort of guff he spouts about flares in tampon boxes (or was that Fenty quoting Dale?) and sand in gloves means everyone gets treated like crap at other grounds.

I know the security manager of a high end, international retailer. There are all sorts of scroats trying to pull wheezes. Does he give interviews to the media bad-mouthing his customers? Or does he quietly, but efficiently get on with his job and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff?
