At game yesterday from couple of different people. Apparently there is one big remaining obstacle (proof of funding) that still hasn't been met and deal can't be ratified by Club & EFL until this is provided. Person who told me said Board had been asking for this for 12+ months and had received nothing.

If true it makes a mockery of that GT article which said the buyer had passed the fit and proper person’s test.

If it is true it would be interesting to see how Liam Wood and the GT explain that one away.

Well given that the club hasn’t asked the FA to carry out the relevant checks on the buyer then, as implied in the article, then clearly his ‘source’ was wide of the mark.

Why should Aaron give it a rest? Is Liam Wood a mate of yours?
