Which would probably bring in close to that figure in revenue...

But hey ho, let's not have any forward thinking or positive vision now.

Whether Fenty goes this week, next week, next month or next year, he’ll never leave with the reputation he wants.

As soon as he accepts that he’s presided over our most unsuccessful period in the club’s entire history, and stops searching for all this money he thinks he’s owed (debts incurred by his poor leadership, mighty I add) then we can all move onwards and upwards.

Ok, so how much money did Bill Carr donate to the club. Or how about FA Would, Paddy Hamilton, Peter Furneaux, Dudley Ramsden etc. In fact name me one Board member or Chairman prior to JF coming on the scene who has gifted, donated or given GTFC money to keep them afloat?

I don’t know how much Mr Carr put in of his own money but I do know he was a good Chairman and a bloody good bloke. When he ran the club it paid its own way and punched massively above its weight. In my opinion he was as much a factor as Sir Alan in arguably the most successful period in Towns history and I for one would give my right arm to see his like back at the helm. There’s more than chucking in money to running a football club.

You obviously don't read posts properly or you are not paying attention. I specifically said " prior to JF " coming on the scene. Now I may be wrong but I'm sure Mike Parker got involved with the club several years after JF joined the Board. So ,for your benefit I will ask again , prior to JF  joining the Board of GTFC name me any director or chairman who donated, gifted or gave the club any substantial amount of cash/money to keep the flub afloat without wanting it back?

You are right this time. I’m sorry.

OK. A question for you. Who has given the club money  in recent years? You can go back a decade. You can even count new share purchases. We’ll see who the real backers of GTFC are.

I saw your face and heard you call my name.

There's only 2 as far as I'm aware, and both bought new shares, and I believe both bought the same value of new shares. John Fenty and Mike Parker.

The 200k he takes annually now could fund a couple of 'hairs on back of neck' signings on nearly 2k a week. That, my friends, could make all the difference between mid table obscurity and and exciting promotion push.

Except it couldn't, because we can only spend 55% of income on player wages. So we'd be breaking FFP rules by doing that. It could be spent on upgrading facilities etc.

How much did JF buy?

You missed off that bloke who won the lottery and Operation Promotion.

Fair enough, operation promotion too. I thought you were talking at boardroom level, but that was a good amount too.

The last shareholding report of when Mike Parker was on the board showed that JF and MP both had £500 000 worth of shares. The majority of both of these was bought through a share issue where the money went to the club rather than to another person.
