Didn't catch all of it but on Lincs FM earlier it said talks have progressed with an agreement in principle, Shutes & Co. just need to pass the fit and proper persons test now.

Fenty came on after the announcement, but I was busy at work and couldn't make out if it was some new info or an old interview regurgitated.

I heard this earlier too on Lincs Fm, but can’t find any other news outlets with the same story.

Well I wouldn't usually, but it was on in my loading shovel and been non-stoo loading... Plus can't get signal for Talksport in this shed!

Typical Fenty. Leaks the info to a radio station that doesn't have "listen again" on their website. I wonder what RH have done to annoy him now?

I heard  that once the ground is completed the official opening will be by the prime minister,

He plans to zip wire from dock tower to the centre spot with the union flag in one hand and a town flag in the other.

It's nice to see your confidence about the new stadium because if it's the current PM it's predicted
he will have the shortest tenancy of No.10 in history.

If it’s just a case of passing the EFL’s fit & proper person’s test, then I think it’s plain sailing from here gentlemen!

The EFL allowed Steve Dale to take over at Bury without even sending them any paperwork, have been fine with the asset stripping sex offenders at Blackpool and allowed countless other potless failures to take over at clubs across the country.  

To paraphrase Austin Mitchell - we could put up a broke, raving alcoholic sex paedophile and they wouldn’t fail the EFL’s test!
