When the likes of Adidas and Nike can't be bothered to sell womens GK kits, is it really a surprise?

James’ goal was outstanding. She bent it from distance into the corner.

Her first England start.  No keeper would have saved it.

England vulnerable to fast counterattacks.  Denmark had 3 good chances in 5 minutes. Better attacking teams will cause our defence even more problems.  Experienced players gave the ball away causing most of the counterattacks.

Walsh injury is s massive blow.  She is the key to everything.  There is no ready replacement for her role.  The only effective deputy was in the provisional squad.  She was sent home.

The injury was mainly caused by the very dry pitch. She caught her foot in the ground, When Laura James scored she did a slide on the grass.  Or tried to - the ground stopped her and she fell over.

James looks a real player - took her goal very well. Only 21, too.

I'm not worried about us going forward - with James, Toone, Russo, Kelly, Hemp, England and maybe Daly we've got plenty of options up top. I am worried about our defence. If we were to play a USA or Germany I could see them ripping us apart.

Her pass in the Euro final, which bisected Germany's defence to set up our equaliser, was sublime.  Yes, a massive blow to lose her.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery Keira.

England passing them to death.  3-0 at HT, would be 4-0 but a technicality ruled out a great goal.  

Lauren James has passed 3 goals into the net from outside the pen area.  The goal played to her from a corner was world class.

Lauren James again!  Cannot  stop scoring classy goals .  Has the skill of her brother Reece James.  I don’t think she was even picked for the Euro Squad last year.
