I actually enjoyed Parasite nearly gave up 15 mins in but pleased I stayed with it. Only minor gripe was the lack of diversity 😂

The last Duel 8.5/10
The movie is set in medieval France. Jean de Carrouges, a knight, challenges his friend, squire Jacques Le Gris to a lawful duel after Jean's wife, Marguerite, accuses Jacques of raping her. The movie shows the events leading up to the duel from three different truth versions. The truth according to Jean, the truth according to Jacques and the truth according to Lady Marguerite.
I don’t know how faithful to history the movie is but judging it purely as a spectacle I liked it a lot. Driver was his usual good self but I thought Comer excelled. She could be a star!

Ridley Scott not happy with the film doing so poorly at the box office. He blames millennials. Think I will give it a watch as I'm not one of them. https://www.hollywoodreporter......lennials-1235051736/

Me either! To be fair I think he could be on to something generally with his assertions. It may be too long for some too but, right, wrong or some win between, I really enjoyed it.

Cinderella man (2005).
True story of a washed up fighter James Braddock who becomes poverty stricken during the great depression. Through hard work and determination works his way back up the boxing hierarchy to become heavyweight champion of the world.
Heartwarming story that reflects real life. Despite sarcasm and mockery by some of the low life thinking he couldn't fight no more showed where heart and true grit got him.
Actions always speaks louder than words.

A very good film with some fine performances from a very good cast.

Yes Russell Crowe played the part well . Similar I feel to when he played the leading part in Gladiator(2000) .

Gladiator is one of my all time favourite movies and I’d not like to guess how many times I’ve watched it along with LA Confidential and A Beautiful Mind.

Give the Equalizer films with Denzel Washington released in 2014 and 2018 a watch if you haven't already. For me with the work I use to do working with disadvantaged youngsters and also through life experiences I have faced these films portrayed on so many levels the fight between good v bad for me with good eventually always coming out on top.

I love Denzel and I loved the first film. The second not so much.
