Similar to how a manager will refuse to be drawn to comment on a potential signing out of respect to the club he currently represents.

There's a reason some management decisions sit with management before completion, because of what's at stake, emotions involved etc. We know there's interest and that Fenty is actively listening to potential offers, it would be detrimental to the process for the fans to know the ins and outs whilst we're still talking hypothetical. I hope it happens soon - although we also need to get the right buyer. Whatever you think of Fenty, he won't sell the club to some chancer who will run us into the ground and we end up in Bury's situation.

As for the new stadium, if the council are involved, then it will take an age for anything to happen. They cannot do anything without countless meetings and debate and consultation.
