Port Vale have made an agreement to sign Scott Brown from newly promoted side Wycombe.  The 33-year-old goalkeeper who made 51 appearances for newly promoted side Wycombe last season, has committed to a two-year deal with the Vale >> https://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/2018/may/scott-brown/

Wolverhampton born, he first started his career at Cheltenham Town, making over 200 appearances in his 10 year period at the club. He has since gone onto play for Aberdeen, Eastleigh and Wycombe making over 350 league appearances in a decorative career.

Bury have re-signed Nicky Adams for a third spell after his contract with Carlisle United ended.  The 31-year-old winger was offered a new deal with the Cumbrians, but will now rejoin the Gigg Lane club instead.

Adams began his career at Bury, making 94 appearances  and scoring 15 goals before a move to Leicester in 2008, and then rejoined the Shakers in May 2014 Nicky and played a pivotal role in the club's promotion to League One.  The following season with Northampton was a triumphant campaign for both the Cobblers and Nicky, as they went on to be crowned Champions of League Two with Nicky becoming the player to record ‘most assists’ across the league. The 32-year-old centre-back was not offered a new deal, he made 22 appearances for Nathan Jones' side in 2017/18 as they finished as runners-up to champions Accrington Stanley. He has claimed a hat-trick of promotions to League One with Rotherham, Oxford, where he was captain, and now Luton.

The 20-year-old right-back who can also play as a defensive midfielder previously worked with boss Dino Maamria at Nuneaton, is Boro's second signing of the summer. Wildin has spent time at Jamie Vardy's V9 Academy and made his international debut for Antigua and Barbuda in March.

Daniels predominantly plays on the right-wing or in midfield started his career with Crewe Alexandra signing a two year professional contract. He made his first team debut coming off the bench in a 5-0 Football League Cup win over Hartlepool United in August 2012. The winger has since gone onto play for Chester, Tamworth, Harrogate Town and AFC Flyde. Scoring 49 goals in a total of in 139 appearances for the National League North teams.

Loan spells with Barrow and Northwich Victoria towards the end of his spell caught the eye of Accrington Stanley and he went on to become club captain, making over 275 appearances in the midfield playmaker role.

The 30-year-old striker, who came up through the club’s academy and made 179 appearances scoring 43 goals between 2006-2012 in all competitions, came back on loan from Carlisle United in January. He scored 6 goals in 15 league appearances during his loan spell, helping David Artell's side finish 10 points clear of the relegation zone.

Cheltenham Town have signed Ryan Broom on a one year deal following his release by League One Bristol Rovers. The 21-year-old plays predominantly on the right-wing but he can also operate at right-back.
