Pleased that Mills has found himself a League club. A good, honest, defender.

Lets just hope neither Matt, Jaiyesimi or Mills don't come back to bite us next season. Was hoping most of those released / not bought after loan etc would end up in the Conference

The 24-year-old centre-back began his career at Eastleigh but was snapped up by then-Premier League side Hull City. After loan spells at Tamworth and Tranmere Rovers, he signed for Blackpool mid-way through the 2015–16 season, appearing 31 times in Blackpool’s promotion-winning season in 2016–17, as the club gained promotion to League One via the play-offs. He made 22 appearances for Blackpool in League One last season, as they finished 12th in League One.

The 24-year-old is primarily a left-back and can also play on the left-wing or midfield position. Hancox began his career with Birmingham City and made his professional debut in the Championship as an 18-year-old and made 33 league appearances. He scored 13 goals in 77 league appearances during two years at Macclesfield, helping them win the National League last season.

The 31-year-old plays as a striker although prefers to play as a midfielder, he lost his place in the Shrewsbury side midway through last season before moving to Chesterfield and made only 12 appearances when they were relagated. He returns two years after ending his first spell at Vale where he scored 51 goals in 289 league appearances where he helped them gain promotion from League Two in 2012–13 season.

The 31-year-old midfielder previously played for Stevenage between 2009 and 2012 and helped them win back-to-back promotions to League Two and One.  After then helping Northampton Town to promotion from League Two in the 2015–16 season, before joining Mansfield and making 41 appearances in a two year spell. Byrom has made a total 325 league appearances scoring 44 goals.

The 31-year-old who plays as a left-back or centre-back  joined Notts County in 2016, having previously played for clubs including Watford, Portsmouth and Port Vale, after starting his career through Stoke City's Academy before making 51 appearances at Championship level before going on to help the Potters earn promotion to the Premier League in 2008. He has made 370 career league appearances to date and played 32 times for the Magpies in the 2017–18 season in all competitions.

The 20-year-old can play in either an attacking midfield role or as a striker.  Last season he scored 25 goals in 42 starts which saw Stephens sweep the board at the end of year awards night as he won the Players’ Player of the Year award, Manager’s Player of the Year award and Supporter’s Player of the Year as well as finishing as the club’s top scorer.  The 5ft 8in forward recently had trials with a number of Championship clubs as well as participating in the Jamie Vardy’s V9 academy earlier this month, he was a schoolboy in Leicester City’s academy and also represented Kettering Town before he joined Stratford.

The 27-year-old centre-back started his career with Swansea City and signed a professional deal at the club following spells on loan at Haverfordwest County and Forest Green Rovers. A two-year stint with Kidderminster Harriers followed before he moved to and captained Dover Athletic in 2015. Grimes went on to make 86 appearances and score 5 goals before joining Cheltenham last season as vice-captain, making 48 appearances for the Robins.

The 21-year-old midfielder joined Forest Green on a free transfer last summer on a two-year deal, having spent the second half of the 2016–17 season on loan at the club from Birmingham City where he had been since youth level. He has made a total of 55 appearances for Rovers so far and played a key part in the club’s promotion winning season in the National League.

The 25-year-old winger joins Newport following a three-year stint at Forest Green Rovers scoring 18 goals in 76 National League appearances, helping them secure promotion to the Football League play-off campaign in 2016–17. He had loan spells at MK Dons and Dundee United before going on to play for Oldham Athletic, Yeovil Town and Barnet.  Marsh-Brown has been capped at England C level 3 times in the under-16s and under-17 sides.

The 29 year-old striker spent the second half of last season on loan at League Two Mansfield, scoring once in eight games. Miller was on the books at Luton Town where he failed to make an impact. He appeared 12 times for the Hatters, before being sent out on loan and ultimately, making a permanent move to the south coast with Dover Athletic in the National League scoring 65 times in 96 appearances before signing for Peterborough.
