The 29-year-old winger has made a total of 412 appearances in all competitions for Crewe, Port Vale and Bristol Rovers, contributing 41 goals. Possibly his most important of those was in the 2012 play-off final against Cheltenham Town at Wembley Stadium, as Crewe gained promotion to League One.

The 26-year-old right-sided player, who is now primarily a midfielder, but also played in as a winger and full-back on both flanks played 205 games for the Dons, helping them win promotion to League One in 2015/16, and scored 13 goals across six seasons before his exit last month. Francomb began his career at Norwich and also played for Barnet and Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

Grimsby Town have signed Louis Robles from Spanish side San Roque de Lepe a one-year deal from after his contract was up. The 21-year-old plays in a centre-forward role or an out and out No.9 striker, he can also operate as a winger on both flanks >> https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44359268

Robles joined Wigan in 2014 after leaving Liverpool's academy, making one first-team appearance. He had spells with clubs including Macclesfield Town, Bangor City and Atletico Baleares since leaving the Latics in 2017.  Robles signed up with Limestone College Saints in the USA the following year and played 19 games while in the States, scoring 14 times and adding five assists. Robles then moved to Spanish second division side Atletico Baleares in Majorca, playing six times in the Segunda Division B. He then made the move to San Roque De Lepe in the Tercera División, where he made 33 appearances and scored six times.

I wonder if we are ever going to get a marquee signing, perhaps as a thank to the fans for putting the millions more we have put into the club (and not asking for it back) or are we hoping Jolley can perform miracles with no transfer fees to be paid?

Mansfield Town have signed Neil Bishop from Scunthorpe United on a free transfer, having rejected a number of offers from other clubs >> https://www.mansfieldtown.net/news/2018/june/stags-capture-experienced-midfielder/

The 36-year-old midfielder played a key role for Scunthorpe last term, making 37 appearances making the League One play-offs in the last two seasons.  He previously played for Notts County where he won the League Two title and going on to be their captain the following year, he also played for Barnet and Blackpool making a total of 405 league appearances and scoring 25 goals.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper had a season-long loan move to Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division side Redditch in August 2017, earning a number of 'man-of-the-match' awards for impressive performances.  Previously of Arsenal and Cambridge United, Ethan played a prominent role for Worcester City in the 2016/17 campaign, featuring 30 times for the then National League North outfit. His impressive performances between the sticks lead to Ethan being named as Worcester City's Young Player of the Year before his return to parent-club Albion in the summer.

The 21-year-old striker joined the Wolves’ academy in 2016 and had been a regular in the Under-23s side prior to his move in January on loan at Newport County where he made 10 appearances without goals.  Collins has also had loan spells at Tranmere Rovers, Notts County and Maidstone United.

The 26-year-old centre-back, has also played as a left-back during his career. Davis spent eight years at Crewe captaining the team in later years, playing more than 200 times, winning the 2012 League Two play-off Final, which Crewe won 2–0 against Cheltenham and were promoted to League One, in 2012–13 season he was part of the team that won the Football League Trophy.  Last season he played 20 league games scoring 3 goals helping St Mirren promoted to the Scotttish Premiership as champions.

The 21-year-old left-back started his career at Oxford United, a loan move with Bath City followed and it was quickly made into a permanent one, he made the National League South team of the season for 2017-18, scoring 3 goals in 28 starts for the Bath.

I would prefer that scenario too but lets face it, he is not going is he? If he is staying, it would be good if he put proper investment in, without wanting it back above and beyond what he already wants.

Plymouth Argyle have signed former Everton youngster Calum Dyson.

Dyson has had loans at Stockport, Chester and Grimsby, scoring four goals in League Two for the latter in a 14-game loan spell in 2017.
