In general clubs that struggled last season will release more players than a club that did well and I think this is what the graph shows.

Forest Green Rovers have secured the signing of long-term target Paul Digby from Mansfield Town for an undisclosed fee.

The versatile 23-year-old has signed a two-year deal and can play in a number of positions including central midfield, central defence and right-back.

Shrewsbury Town want £1million for central defender Toto Nsiala
The club have already rejected a £650,000 bid for him from Ipswich
Nsiala has submitted a transfer request to try and force through a move
Shrewsbury's Jon Nolan has also been linked with a move to Ipswich

The 34-year-old right-back has over 400 appearances to his name, with five years of Premier League experience during his ten-year professional association with Bolton after graduating through their youth ranks. Leaving Wanderers in 2010, he linked up with Bristol City in the Championship & played for two seasons before short spells at Preston & Rotherham. Moving into League Two with Accrington Stanley in 2013 after a successful loan, he made 80 appearances in 18-months before choosing to join Mansfield Town in 2015. The last three seasons have merited solitary one-year spells at Mansfield, Leyton Orient & then Notts County - where he made 19 appearances in all competitions last year as the Magpies reached the play-offs.

The 23-year-old 6'4 centre-back, who can also play as a midfielder and right-back started his career at Barnsley and won the Most Promising Academy player in 2008. Digby featured 21 times in all competitions for Mansfield last season and had a year remaining on his deal with the Stags. He got a move to Championship side Ipswich Town in 2016 before making the switch to Mansfield at the end of his one-year contract last summer. Digby has been capped at under 19 and 20 level for England.

The 20-year-old midfielder made 12 appearances for Coventry since making his debut in November 2016, he has a  reputation for being a hard working a tenacious midfielder who gives his all.  He  signed a new contract in December of 2017 to stay with Coventry City until June 2020.

The 28-year-old French centre-back began his football career with Troyes but moved to England in January 2011, signing with then-Sky Bet League One club AFC Bournemouth. He spent 18 months with the Cherries before joining Leyton Orient, with whom he made 157 appearances and scored 10 goals. He spent the last two seasons with Doncaster Rovers and in 2016/17 helped Donny achieve promotion from League Two. He found the net six times in his 48 games for the Yorkshire club.

The 23-year-old centre-back who can also play at left-back came began his career AFC Bournemouth and signed professional terms with the Cherries in April 2013, but only made 11 first-team appearances for the club. He is a former U20 England International, making 7 appearances and scoring one goal.

The 19-year-old midfielder began his football career with Luton Town’s U10s Academy and when he reached the age of 17, the youngster was given a three-and-a-half-year deal. In 2017, Bristol City offered Bakinson a three-year deal.  Bakinson's one and only Robins appearance to date came in the Carabao Cup fourth round against Crystal Palace in October 2017.

The 32-year-old striker started his career as a youngster at Leicester City making his senior debut for the Foxes in 2003. Since then he has had spells at several clubs including Rotherham United, Bury, Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley and Brighton and Hove Albion. He signed for Oldham Athletic in 2008, making 34 appearances for the club in all competitions. In the 2009/10 season, he gained League Two promotion with Rochdale, scoring 22 times in 43 appearances.

The 20-year-old striker joined Bournemouth at 14-years-old, he was a prolific goalscorer throughout his youth career. He played 53 times and scored 10 times whilst on loan with Yeovil Town last season. He also played a part in their FA Cup run which came to an end in the Fourth Round against Manchester United.

McFadzean is a former Scotland U21 and England U16 international.

The 19-year-old who can attacking midfielder can play on the left-wing or as a striker made his senior Cardiff debut in January 2017 in the FA Cup defeat to Fulham, the same week he signed his first professional contract, he made two further appearances for Cardiff that season as a late substitute in a 3–0 away victory against Huddersfield and making his first league start in a 0–0 draw with Wigan Athletic.The Wales Under-21 cap played twice more for the first team in the league that season, but did not feature for the seniors in 2017–18.

During three campaigns at the City Ground Miller had loan spells at Middlesbrough and Yeovil before spending half a season at Blackpool. He joined Huddersfield in February 2015, scoring four goals in 37 matches

The 22-year-old centre-back began his career with Millwall and he made his first-team debut against AFC Bournemouth on 28th December 2014. He has featured over 30 times Milwall and has also spent time out on loan at Newport County and Yeovil Town in order to gain experience in the EFL. Nelson also spent a short stint with Chesterfield last season and was rewarded with a new deal by Millwall at the end of the 2017–18 campaign.

The 30-year-old winger is comfortable using either foot is a Martinique international who has scored 36 goals in 197 league appearances. He began his career in France which included spells with Nancy, Paris Saint-Germain B and Nantes before a move to Hereford United. After scoring 9 goals in 38 appearances in League Two, he switched to Notts County prior to a stint in Scotland with Ross County and St Mirren. Moves abroad to Turkey and Sweden followed before a short stint with Mansfield in the second half of the 2016–17 campaign.

The 23-year-old winger began his career in the Premier League with Newcastle. He joined Carlisle for his first ever loan spell when he came across to Cumbria in August 2013, making one appearance for the Blues. He also enjoyed loan spells with St Mirren, Fleetwood Town, Hartlepool United and Gateshead before making a permanent move to Notts County in the summer of 2015. After 73 appearances and 8 goals for County, Campbell signed for Morecambe in the summer of 2017 where he scored once in his 31 appearances.
