Exeter City have signed midfielder Nicky Law on a free transfer after he left League One side Bradford City at the end of last season >> https://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2018/july/nickylawsigns/

The 30-year-old midfielder made 43 appearances for the Bantams last season as the club just missed out on the League One play-offs. Law began his career with Sheffield United and spent time on loan with the likes of Yeovil Town and Bradford. He then went on to amass well over 50 appearances for Rotherham United before moving to Scotland to join Motherwell. A couple of years there then saw him make the move to Ibrox as he joined Scottish giants, Rangers, where he won the 2015/16 Scottish Championship. After making 114 appearances for the club and finding the net 24 times, Nicky then returned to play for Bradford in 2016.

The 20-year-old who plays on the right-wing come through the academy setup at Celtic, the Scottish-born player, who has been capped at Under 21 level for his national side, joined Brentford last summer and made 3 appearances. He spent time on loan at Scottish League One side Albion Rovers during the 2016/17 season making 40 league appearances with no goals and UEFA Youth League experience, having played 11 games for Celtic, scoring two goals.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who will play in a midfield berth at Swindon was born in England to Colombian parents.  He began his career with Leyton Orient and made 12 appearances in League Two during the 2016/17 campaign, scoring his first professional goal against Newport County in March 2017. He then was snapped up by Brighton on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee in July 2017.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper was released by Notts County at the end of last season and is new boss John Sheridan's fifth summer signing for the Cumbrians. Collins was previously with Carlisle from 2009 to 2013 and made 159 appearances in four seasons.

The 24-year-old striker who can also play on the wings started his career at Leeds United, making his full debut against Nottingham Forest in 2012. He went on to make 29 appearances for the Whites over the next three seasons, scoring three goals. He also made loan spells in League One with Bury and Sheffield United. Dominic left Leeds in 2014 and signed for Oldham Athletic, where he spent the next three seasons. He made 68 appearances for the Latics and scored 11 goals. During the 2014-15 campaign he twice played against Reds for Oldham as a substitute. His next port of call was AFC Wimbledon in 2016 when he scored 13 times in 49 appearances. Last season for Bradford he scored seven goals in 37 games.

The 30-year-old midfielder played 50 games for Exeter in all competitions last term as they made the play-off final for a second year running. He scored a total of 3 goals in 83 league appearances for Exeter. James started his career at Southampton and then had spells at Colchester and Leyton Orient, where he spent four years between 2012 and 2016.

The 23-year-old striker began his career at Brentford, before making a move to Premier League giants Chelsea. Smith then moved to Gillingham to complete his youth career, before making his name in non-league football with Sevenoaks Town, Sittingbourne and Folkestone Invicta. The 6ft 5in striker found the net 13 times in 19 appearances at Folkestone, a plethora of Football League sides entered the race for his signature until Millwall secured his services with a two year contract in August 2016.

The 25-year-old Dutch winger scored 10 goals and made 10 assists last season at Crawley.  He has scored in total 16 goals in 101 appearances during a three-year stay at Crawley. Known for his pace and being a good ball-carrier.

No prob, it's usually just a cut and paste job of the important info, sometimes it takes time if I have to source more info. I like to see what sort of players the opposition are signing, so while I read them I post them on here. Keeps 'The Fishy' ticking a tiny abit more with the season over, although we do have the World Cup.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper came through the Academy at Preston, and after recently signing a new two-year deal.  In December 2015 he came on as a sub after Jordan Pickford was sent off in the first-half. Hudson was offered his first professional contract in January 2016 and won Scholar of the Year award at the 2016 Player of the Year awards.

The 28-year-old right-back began his career with a scholarship at Norwich City. From there, Miller went on to play for Rangers, Irish side Dundalk and Newport County, before joining Lincoln City in 2012. Miller made more than 100 appearances for the Imps between 2012 and 2015.  His form at Lincoln earned him a move into the Football League with Carlisle where he made over 100 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals during his three seasons there.

The 30-year-old striker who has played as a winger in the past scored eight goals in 27 appearances in League Two last season for Barnet.  Nicholls started his professional career at Walsall in 2005, scoring 28 goals in 219 games over a seven year period, before moving to Northampton Town in 2012, but his three year stay was disrupted by injury problems, limiting him to 29 appearances & nine goals over three years. He played at Exeter from January 2015 to June 2016, banging in 13 goals in 74 games prior to joining the Bees that following summer. In 2017 he helped Dundee United win the Scottish Challenge Cup whilst on loan there for nine league games.

The 28-year-old striker scored scored 25 or more goals in three of his last four seasons, totalling 89 goals in 162 outings with the Bees, who were relegated to the National League last season. Akinde had previous spells with Bristol City and Portsmouth, and arrived at Barnet in the summer of 2014 following a successful season in the National League with Alfreton Town, where he scored 18 times in the league.

The 22-year-old defensive midfielder came through the Chelsea Academy, Houghton has made over 100 career appearances while on loan with the likes of Gillingham, Plymouth Argyle and, more recently, Doncaster Rovers playing 37 league games in League One last season. He has also represented England at U20, 17 and 16 level scoring three goals in 17 appearances.

The 20-year-old striker has been with Fulham through their academy ranks since the age of 9. He has previously spent time on loan at Slough Town, Bognor Regis and Cheltenham Town where he scored four goals in 10 appearances in all competitions in the 2017–18 season. A  powerhouse forward who isn't afraid to get stuck in and is also dangerous with the ball at his feet.

The 22-year-old box-to-box midfielder began his career with Sunderland but went on to have loan spells with Gateshead and Carlisle United before Kilmarnock in Scotland before going on to play in the NIFL Premiership for Coleraine where he won the Irish Cup and second in the league which qualified for the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. Smith has scored two goals in 36 league appearances during his career so far.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper began his career with Plymouth in 2000, the stopper went on to make 138 appearances for the Pilgrims before having spells with Truro City and Oxford United. He returned to Plymouth in 2013 and made a further 168 outings for the club, where he was named Plymouth's captain. McCormick was named in the PFA 2016-17 League Two Team of the Year.

The 21-year-old Nigerian left-back began his career with Fulham and also had a spell with west London rivals Chelsea before completing a move to Southampton in 2013.  Debayo went on to join Leicester in 2016 and spent two seasons with their Under-23 side before leaving in June.

The 33-year-old striker  Simpson started his career with Norwich City’s Academy system. He joined  Cambridge City for six years before signing for Cambridge Utd. Simpson would go on to spend time with Coventry City, Huddersfield Town, Brentford, Oldham Athletic and Leyton Orient before returning to the Abbey Stadium with Cambridge United in June 2014 and then linking up with Paul Tisdale at Exeter City two years later. He suffered a serious ankle injury during his first season at St James Park but recovered to help the Grecians achieve a fourth-place finish in Sky Bet League Two last season.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper made 16 appearances for Stockport last season. Halstead began his career at Blackpool but only made three appearance for them - including one as a substitute in the Premier League against Chelsea in 2011. He had loan spells at Burscough, Hyde, Barrow, Kettering and Stockport before joining Shrewsbury Town and played 19 games. Halstead has made over 60 appearances.

No new signings for League Two up to now.  Noticed Mallik Wilks is moving up a league though.
