Please put your name here if you will ride to Lincoln for the away fixture on August the 30th and/or you will sponsor us to do it.

Its more than a few years since I got on a bike and I smoke too much so I'll not volunteer to ride a bike. But as it was my small joke which sparked this madness I will donate a small chunk of my childrens inheritance to the cause should you pull it off.

I dont think its a case of if, there seems to be enough interest so were going to try and sort the small details so it can go ahead.
Obviously anyone who has ever helped organise something like this please try and help out as ive never done anything like this and cant speak for leon but dont think he has either.
so Volunteers for the ride, donations and also someone with a brain would be very helpful lol

I have tried to organize a sponsored leg waxing at NAFC, but it never took off. Maybe lukeo will ride with us, unless he's playing for the internet mariners.

Afraid my 40 mile bike riding days are long gone. I will gladly sponsor anybody tho' for this excellent cause.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

try getting in touch with cleethorpes rugby club. think its them thats doing a sponsored bike ride? sure it was in the paper last night. they might be able to give you abit more info on how to set it up and if there are any insurance requirments etc

I'm far to top heavy to be riding a bike that far. I'll be in the car all the way there and all the way back I prefer my method of transport to have 3 pedals rather than 2, and a roof

Sod it, I'm up for it, as long as I can find a way of getting my bike back to cleethorpes due to no trains (I'd go home via sheffield not with the hoardes of town fans who would travel on the train home)

As I stated before, I live in Lincoln so I'd be cheating if I did it, but I'll chuck in a silver farthing to sponsor you. What's the Charidee? I suggest getting in touch with both clubs to get some exposure too. You'll probably get invited onto the pitch before the game (and get in for nowt!)
I did a sponsored walk from Louth to BP for a friendly game against Barnsley years ago and got onto the pitch and a hearty round of applause! I was offerd a seat in the Main stand but wandered round to the Pontoon. Ungrateful barsteward that I am!
