how hily is the route? and miles, time frame etc

I am only doing it on autoroute but I put we will be biking 10mph on all roads but streets, which I put as 6, and it says the route is 40.8 miles, and should take 4 hours 32 minutes with them figures I put in. I suspect a 15 minute stop every hour? So add another hour, which makes 5 and a half hours! which is still very optimistic   thats if everything runs smootly of course.

The main route taken to lincoln via the a46 is 39 miles, if we go via caistor its 45, and bigger badder hills too.

Im gonna sort the idea for food and drink this end, either through LCFC or ill get use of our restuarant at work if we have time.
Im sorting out the donations of drink and energy bars from local supermarkets, asda are willing to do a raffle for us and donate a prize so theres so money that will go towards the cause.
If we get enough people i can organise the friday for us to go into morrisons helping packing bags that will raise alot of money.

The company i was told about bike hire is no longer doing hiring so im gonna lobby some companys that might help, i was told about one near somerfield in town (gy) if anyone knows what its called or a number so i can call them?

Just found this route. I reckon we'll have to look at setting off at 5am to give us a chance of getting there for 11ish.
