i would love to do the ride but would be up for helping out.

the one time living in lincoln pays off i end up helping on a bike ride! typical hehe!

well that is me out ...bike is steel .....tyres  big tread ...frame steel ...shorts  basic not cycling ...gloves non existant ....tools  missing....chain cheap....saddle  slightly padded but not much......hydration pack ..never heard of one so no idea what one is never mind a camels pack.....trainers normal...pedals blocks of wood just about

i can say the same, was looking forward to getting up at 8ish and going into town and walking to sb!

hydration pack is what i use (its like a small rucksack with a resevoir and tube running from it for drink) if you ain't got one fill a water bottle  

my suggestions will just make things easier - they are not essential by any means!!

although i stick by the paded cycle shorts and good saddle - i'm yet to sow my seeds yet to create mini citymariners and i want my swimmers to be at least with their 25cm proficency badge

Sorry brazil your kinda of not getting out of it that easy, ive been told of a company that might be willing to lend/donate bikes for this event!

It's a good idea the Lincoln directors and fans walked over hot coals to raise money for a cancer charity and with Jacko fighting cancer it would be a good choice.
LCFC are keen on the charity side of things.
