Just a thought, there will a shed load of traffic on the A46 that day,
Apparently there is a football match on and loads of Town fans will be going by bus and car, as there are no trains..............
you could cause jams all the way back to Morrisons

<'(((((<

When I was a little boy
I asked my daddy what would i be
would I be United, would i be Leeds
Here's what he said to me

Oh Grimsby Grimsby
Whatever will be will be
You'll follow then faithfully

Or you could take a tow rope and attach it to my bumper as I go past you. You'd be there in 40 mins!

I'd think that the majority of Town fans that go from GY will be leaving 1-2 hours before Kick off. We're likely to be nearly there by then!

Seems we might be going via binbrook so would avoid the a46 direct(ish) route.

They'd be quicker on a bike with no wheels than with your driving trying to tow them

Ok guys,
Spoken to DI Andy Pearsons which is lincolns liason police officer for the club, he has informed me the police are more than happy for us to do it.
Ive got to email him with further details and he will try and provide some support for us (i.e escort/sponsership)
Nice fella untill he said we better be setting off now if we are to get here for the 30th

This was the one thing that was going to stop the whole thing so there isn't any going back now! I was thinking an easy way to do the route would be to have a car with a spare bike on top follow us and then every 10 or so miles have a checkpoint where somebody could have drinks ready and help us shake the cramp out and stuff. I was also thinking, its quite flat from caenby corner isn't it? Is there a way of getting to there through the binbrook way to Caenby corner?

we need to find out which is the best route so i can give details on to the police, as they are looking to provide an escort for us, Local media also would like to know as they are going to be running the story, radio will also be giving out traffic warnings on the day which is fantastic.

So which would be best route.
