I would deffinately give it a go, if enough interest is raised and enough people to go I am up for it. Will do anything for a good cause, and to watch the mariners aswell cant go wrong. Whos names are in the hat already? LH and biccys seem to be only posters for certain at the stage.

That will give you a good indication if it is physically possible for you before taking things too far. The last thing you want is an egg-on-face moment on the day and end up missing the match. --

Riding round Grimsby at a steady speed won't prove anything. You need to see if you can deal with some of those mighty hills on the A46 (Caistor, Swallow, Cabourne etc). That's a true benchmark as to whether you can make it all the way to Lincoln...and back. --
