regarding helmets, doubt i'll wear one but maybe if we got them in a colour which we could write on the players could sign them and we could sell em off to help towards the cause.

What about if we did 20+ miles each. We are both not in great shape, but gives us a reason to start training, and will show fattys can do their bit to mate...only a suggestion. I need a bike too arrrggghhh better find a job me thinks..does anyone have one of them going?

Blakey, I've decided to do it but it's gonna be the full and daunting tab if I do.

It looks like I've managed to borrow a bike for a few weeks so I intend to start training 3 times a week. I'm unfit as you know (we play in the same footy team) but I've lost a bit of bulk recently and I reckon this would help me lose a bit more weight too (can't hurt unless I keel over!) Would be good if we could train together? Will discuss tonight at Winterton m8.

I would comment on that but I think it would belong in the non-footy thread
