Very noticeable that we've already got a lot more pace among our attackers now than we had last season. I'm really pleased with this because we were appallingly one-paced for a lot of last season and sometimes just having that extra yard can make the difference in a game.

Wilson and Vernam are quick, Eisa is rapid when fit and Rose is very physical. Already we're a much more worrying proposition for other defences. Great stuff.

Don't know where you get that from, IIRC JS said the Cup money would go to the football side to strengthen the squad.

I can’t figure out if I’m excited about this signing or it’s just a solid player.

It feels like Vernam has improved at town whilst he’s been away. No doubt a talent but is he remembered more fondly as being a shining light along a steaming turd of a football club?

Was hoping we'd get a taller winger as I'm still a bit worried worried about a lack of height in forward areas, if crosses come in from either side our forwards/wingers coming in at the back post all seem relatively small

Vernan - 1.7m
Khan - 1.75m
Eisa - 1.8m
Wilson 1.8m
Rose - 1.73m
Orsi - 1.88m

Plus our midfielders who get forward are also all sub 6ft as well
Holoham, Clifton (maybe Hunt)

Looks like we are going to have to be pacey and play it on the deck to get most of our goals
