Utterly broken by this.

A genuinely decent and proper bloke. He didn't deserve it to end like this.

The right decision, without question. But it hurts like hell. Like a relationship you know isn't working anymore but you just can't say goodbye.

Thanks for everything Paul.

Im gutted.

He has given me the most magical memories. Things i would never ever have thought I’d see Grimsby town do.

Hold your head high Paul, you’ll always be welcome back here Paul.

Proud you were our manager

Feels a little bit like a relationship break up with a really nice girl who isn’t putting out as much as you like so it’s time to part ways.

Quoted from lukeo

It's genuinely the first time someone's been sacked and I've been more gutted than happy.

I just said to my mrs that I feel very emotional and upset and she laughed and said you wanted him out an hour ago

I think it’s because he’s a good bloke

Sad day.

Great guy.

Difficult at this point to suggest this being anything other than the correct decision.

Fingers crossed we can find someone good.

Cheers Paul

Really disappointed. I have been frustrated with recent form, like anyone, but I just wanted him to turn it around... He has been the most important manager for us in decades and I wanted to keep th faith. I just can't stomach the years nonsense we endured between Hursts tenures as manager all over again.

Thanks Paul. We owe you a lot as a club. I wish things had worked out better and you had lead us to greater successes.

Genuinely saddened by this news I really thought that this season would be the making of a good side which might challenge for a playoff spot but sadly not to be. UTM

Dead Eye Dobbin stood motionless waiting, waiting, waiting for the ball to arrive. Back came the right foot, Down came the right foot, Bang ! Headlines around the world as the ball flew into the very top right hand corner of the goal.( Jim Dobbin scoring in the 89th minute for Town against Newcastle United away 24/10/1992 )
