I hope that the work the club as done over the last two years is enough to remove the stigma we gained under fenty as a club not to be touched because of the penny pinching ways, the diabolical treatment of players like pieces of meat,and facilities from the Victorian area. Mud does stick so let’s hope enough cleansing as been done to attract a quality manager.

Also, there’s a shock in store for those who are expecting a decent replacement. An up and coming National league manager isn’t going to want to risk moving and going back down at the end of the season, blowing their likely only chance. Expect those who’ve been screaming for his head are going to go very quiet when the replacement is announced, or a short list leaked.

I think our best chance of surviving relegation was Hurst turning it around, as unlikely as that seemed recently.
I think we’re fûcked.
