Hard life mate. You should get a refund on your folicles.

Hope your not going to wear your famous Matalan denim shirt for the ride mate

On a serious not has anyone approached gyms for sponsorship or so we can use cheap to train?

This is a superb initiative - congratulations to all. Wonderful positive publicity for the Club, and for a very worthy cause.

I'll do it provided I can sort out my bike or hire one.

Thinking ahead to the game (so I'm assuming we make it!), I wonder what the ticket sale arrangements will be at Lincoln - I'd be gutted to bike all the way there knowing I'd failed to get a ticket (or 5 - including the 'support crew') because of some tricky ticket sale conditions.

I wonder if there's any arrangement we can get with either Club so we can make sure we can buy tickets?

just got back from work, had to read 5 pages to catch up! progress is being made. I even turned down a pizza on the way home.

I was thinking the same as DavidB, I cant see it being too hard to get tickets anyway, but just to be sure, am not keen on biking there and then not getting in!

Oh aswell good news about elsphal and the borrowing of the bikes, how many do they have? did they say? by the sounds of things, only citymariner has a bike capable of the journey.

Hey guys, fantastic idea, thought this was a joke when I read it the other day but fair play. I'm hoping to do my bit and join in the ride, could do with shedding a few pounds and got plenty of family who have been affected by Cancer so would love to help out!

It's brilliant the way this has taken off - I'm surprised how quickly things are being organised.  Well done for going ahead with it and not allowing any obstacles to get in the way.  Also impressed that the Vicar resisted the offer to just do half the distance and is hell bent on doing the full thing!

I can't commit myself to anything big like this, but I'll certainly make a donation to your cause.  Good luck!

It's Armani for Godsake. Gym my bottom. This bike thing will be a stroll in the park for an athlete such as myself.
