The only problem is he is working with L2 players not international players that can adapt to different formations and tactics.

Though the badges are meant to be applicable across many levels I think your point about adaptability is a really good one Pete especially for the younger players or those lacking form and starts.

Jolley is no manager.. i have said this before and say it again . He does not know his left from right mid from striker or defender from midfielder. He is clueless at picking a team and will go no where with him in charge

Totally.. a complete overreaction. I mean I worry there is some dressing room issue or something because it’s been such a sudden and terrible drop in form but it’s been literally 3-4 games of bad form and now it seems everyone wants the managers head. Unbelievable.

I think if you read all the posts there are not many wanting him sacked.

Just want him to stick to a settled team and play some football and less hoofball.

Plenty of managers would want this job I think it’s a bit of a hobby for MJ and he’s not really interested whether we win or loose.

Oh do intercourse off. Like him or not, to suggest he isnt interested in winning or losing is childish and completely unfounded. When someone disagrees with you, do you think they are inherently disingenuous simply because they have different viewpoints to you? Grow up, basically.

He's still learning. Part of the job is dealing with bad runs and the fallout. We have progressed on his time here it doesn't always feel like it I know, but he needs to get over this dip and try and learn from the experience.

From what I have been told happened in the press room, he is not handling it very well.

Sol Campbell or probably Steve McLaren

When you put it like that...Jolley IN

Of the two I'd prefer Sol, which is something I never expected to hear myself say!

Sorry, he just hasn’t progressed at all though. His loss % in league matches is still closer to Russell Slade II level than the level we should be expecting 19 months into his tenure. And these dips are constant and are almost in a cycle. A terrible run of defeats, followed by a better run of results and repeat.

The truth is he’s only won 25 of his 70 league matches in charge. That’s 35.7%. It’s simply not good enough. And he’s lost 30 league games (42.9%).

Where exactly is the improvement?
