Hard to believe that last month we were 3-0 away to the unbeaten leaders.

To totally misquote the question put to George Best, “where did it all go wrong for you Michael?”.

He made all the changes to the side that everybody here suggested after the last game and we got hammered. What does that say about the tactical knowledge of this forum?

All you can do is baw when we lose and pretend that he didn't do the exact thing that you all wanted and still lost. Since getting promoted to L2 we've had 5 different managers and you still want a new manager each time we lose a few games in a row. The Fishy is a place full of people with no loyalties or morals. You pretend to be loyal when you have some glory but as soon as you don't you're ready to pull the knives out, the fact you only want to discuss past glory says it all.

Should change "sing when we're fishing" to "Sing when we're winning" because it's closer to reality.  . If I were playing for this club I wouldn't want to give anything for you sad girl privates.

3.  we’ve lost 3 in the bounce and a wise man once said any manager is 6 games from the sack ...

In reality though, we’re an unfashionable team in an unfashionable part of the world. When we recruited Jolley who else was actually interested in the job? Who would want it now?

If you look at the club we’ve always been unfashionable, add into that a history of poor budgets, under performing and sackings (4 managers since promotion shows we’re trigger happy) as well as an uncertain future with regards ownership then who in their right mind would want to manage Grimsby Town?

Our position is about where we should be with our budget. It’s rare for a team to achieve beyond their budget. So it’s arguable that Jolley’s overall performance is acceptable.

My preference would be to remain with Jolley, to allow him to develop. We’re a streaky side but a lot are at this level.

I understand why people would call for his head but I don’t see a viable alternative and I don’t think that he’s actually doing as bad a job as people are saying.

Oddly enough “if” we had one today we’d have been in a play off position ..... just sayin.

Yes. Doesn't it just make your blood boil though Herts to think that a really up and at 'em performance from the kick off against a poor side like Orient would have achieved that? Instead we are fannying about with Subbuteo and FIFA manager selections and tactics like it's some kind of academic exercise. I'm surprised him and Limbrick haven't got a wi-fi link in the dug out and a laptop in there.

It alright saying keep MJ but if gates drop below 3000 can we afford to keep him.
At £20 a match it’s not worth the money and a lot of people are thinking like that.

At present Hanson only get the ball hoofed up to him, when he should be on the end of crosses.

We need a settled back four, it should only change due to injuries. Especially at fullback!

We should set up to win the match, not to counter/match the opposition. If we fall behind then and only then should we change it.

We should know our best team and best formation !

The substitutions today made little difference, we were still too narrow, resulting in limited threat .

I believe that Jolly is incapable of delivering any of this.

Rolling six month contract, give him six months notice now and replace him within the six months or give him a new deal if he pulls it around [Unlikely]. If he goes an interim appointment until the right man is found.
