For a start Jolley has had 18 months and all the players are is. He has had an excellent chance to do something in the game but I am not sure his strengths are in management. More boardroom than manager.

There would be plenty of managers out there who would want to manage Grimsby Town. The trick is picking the right one; not the one who gives the best interview, but the background checks, the style of football played and whether they can get a reasonable squad playing to their strengths.

Paul Hurst has 6 years just saying

We're on our way back, we’ll was now on our way back to non league 👍🏻

Where did I say I wanted Paul Hurst sacked?

We went from like 11th place finish to 4th place finish in Hursts second full season, yes it stagnated later on but the Jolley is in his second full season and doesn't appear to be making equivalent progress.

Town are above Scunny
Not for much longer judging by today

Well, we were crap but still drew against Newport who were in the playoffs last season, whereas Scunny lost 4-1 to Crawley...

Agreed it's a nonsense comparison, and stagnating in the playoffs still means being in the playoffs! (just saying)

My Fishy colleagues, its Saturday evening and once again time to bump this thread back up to the top again. As we speak we are still 1 point above them WITH 3 games in hand. After the shenanigans that have happened this week I only have 2 footballing wishes for this season now,1) we beat them both home and away, 2) we finish above them at the end. Simples.
