Funny you only seem to 'see' the negative side of things.

It’s CLIQUE. So if you can’t spell it no wonder you don’t belong

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

I get that there's been plenty of negatives the last 16 years or so. But you seem to positively revel in it like a pig inshit.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Just to lighten the mood thought I'd bump this thread back up, we are in Mondays  draw and scunny ar'nt. The only worry is that they can now concentrate on the league whilst we're dreaming of Man U away.

Funny Jolley won’t be sacked specially we have made profit aswell, the board will see that is down to him, plus no one in the right mind would want to manage with us fans wanting them sack after 6 months, I feel relegation coming on very with all these sackings

We're on our way back, we’ll was now on our way back to non league 👍🏻

Town are above Scunny
Not for much longer judging by today

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

For a start Jolley has had 18 months and all the players are is. He has had an excellent chance to do something in the game but I am not sure his strengths are in management. More boardroom than manager.

There would be plenty of managers out there who would want to manage Grimsby Town. The trick is picking the right one; not the one who gives the best interview, but the background checks, the style of football played and whether they can get a reasonable squad playing to their strengths.

The hardest part Lew is that most of us believe this squad is the best we've had for a long time, a squad he's put together which makes me think that MJ is a pretty decent judge of a player, better known in the trade as a scout, but as long as I've got a hole in my fat posterior he's not a manager....I saw it last year and I'm seeing it again this season...
