Hurst isn’t a fan of Orsi I feel (although he did sign him)
Hurst seemed really reluctant to play him a lot of the time. Chose just about every striker over him at points over the season

His first window can be excused because we were awful and posed an incredibly high chance of adding relegation to players CVs; whilst also being in the middle of a takeover so there was a lot of uncertainty.

However many he signed last season was good enough to get promoted, and then however many he signed this season were good enough to enter the FA Cup record books and finish higher than any manager has managed to do since 2006.

The number of signings is not a stick to beat him with.

Truth: Paul Hurst is a better manager and will be remembered more as a football manager than he was as a football player. IMO much harder to achieve so I rate him highly for that.

54, including loans and not double-counting Andy Smith or John McAtee. What do you surmise is the significance of that number?

Just remind me, how many seasons did it take to get back in to the FL and when did we last finish in the top half of L2 or get to an FA cup quarter final?
