Just read the thread and gone thorugh all sorts of emotions reading it.  Puts things into perspective but most of all it makes me realise that their are a hell of a lot of good decent people around who do care, even if they don't personally know you.  Take care mate and you always know you can talk on the fishy.  Great effort by all concerned. Could you just imagine without this new technology, ie computers, web sites, Pete who is obviously not him self echowed his feelings posted on this site, and people who know him more than I do picked up his unusual comments and acted and the response has been amazing.

A few years back people with depression and I am not sayiing that Pete has got depression because we do not know his problem, did not have a computer to echo there thoughts and well being.
To me this was an instance where modern technology was proving how important  that it really is.

I hope when Pete is getting better that he starts posting again because I feel he has got a lot to offer this site.

Do we know if Pete was already in hospital or admitted following the actions of folk on the fishy? If he's been admitted following the interventions of folk on here then what a fantastic response in Petes darkest hours and cry for help. How long before the journos latch on?
