got a letter in the post today, says that...

"due to unforeseen circumstances, your appointment for 29th of March, has been brought forward to 15th of March"


could mean anything really...

Hopefully, it's the consultant or whoever your appointment is with, are going on holiday then so they have brought it forward.

mum figured out it was because i got the op done somewhat earlier than they (surgeons) had planned...

ok so on tuesday, i see the consultants for the follow up appointment, and hopefully i'll be back at Blundell Park which IS WHERE I BLOODY BELONG!!!


also at the minute the time i'm spending to recover is really starting to get me down

i've really got to think about how to put this now, but i've had really excrement news today...

the thing is, they didn't get all the tumour out, they want me in again sooner rather than later, they reckon they make take a chunk, unno how big a chunk yet, out of my abdomen area, and they'll end up doing a skin-graft and bit of plastic surgery aswell...

Yoikes. Still, they've found out now rather than later. That can only be a positive.

And you'll have a cool scar for the beach!

Agree with Biccy's here Matt and you could tell them the scar/scars was from fighting off scunt whores who wanted your genes

Hey Matty, don’t be worrying about scars mate, they will have a look when it starts healing whether you need a graft, most times they don’t. Watch out for infection mate, keep it covered up.
Just spent the last 7 months backwards and forwards to Sheff children’s hospital with our daughter, who had AML and ALL so know what your going through mate, more than most people, your in the best hands possible, make no mistake, stay positive.
Our Emma didn’t make it; I can say no more................
