so it's the Positron Emission Tomography "PET" Scan on Wednesday and then a Bone Scan on the thursday, and both scans involve being injected with something, which i need to let settle into me for a certain amount of time...

in the pet scan's case i need to have a radioactive substance injected into me, lay still for an hour, and then get on the scanner for another half hour, and the worst thing...

NO BLOODY BREAKFAST OR ANYTHING TO EAT BEFOREHAND

and in the case of the bone scan, injected with something or other, leave it to settle in for 3 hours, go and do whatever i want in that time, and then on that scanner...

you ever get the feeling somebody just doesn't like you
???

All the best Matt, hope all goes ok. It sounds a bit similar to the MRI scan I have to have each year. They stick me in a tube for about half an hour, noisy as hell, bring me out and inject me with some sort of ink or dye then stick me back in for another half hour or so. It's a bloody good job I'm not claustrophobic cos you just can't move in that bloody scanner.

I really hope everything goes well for you Matt, My thoughts are with you right now and I hope you remain
as positive as ever. You seem like a real fighter, take inspiration from Wrawbz, cos that lad knows how to fight too.

Good luck for Wednesday mate. Regards, Tiny.

Blimey, with your descriptions of the scans, Fenty will be using you as a cheap power source for the floodlights.

Hope everything's fine and dandy for you fella.

just had confirmation guys...

there is a lump, PET/CT Scan doesn't show it as having spread, so it could just be a case of knockout gas and under the knife...

chemo could still be an option, but need to wait and see...
