Not the best news mate, but I guess the good side is with the regular checks, at least they find things early which is so important. Some more sh*tty treatment and you'll have it beat. POSITIVITY!! doesnt come naturally to GTFC  fans but you've got the best support possible from your Fishy mates.

Spoken to matt over facebook and he's asked me to write this on his behalf, he had a scan and they found some hotspots which suggest that it may have spread towards his lungs, and this is why there's no op at the moment, and why they're putting off chemo/ radiotherapy until they find out what the exact situation is. He's on oral chemo for now and he will find out in the next week or so what the situation is. He's feeling low at the moment and i know the support on the fishy really helps him. Cheers, Henry.

It seems to be a tough journey for someone so young.

Beating this will need lots of small goals, set yourself things that you want to achieve, some may be tougher than others and some will be achieved quicker than others.  By varying your goals you will change your focus and hopefully this will give you a bit of a lift as you over come each thing that you have set yourself.  It can be as mudane as painting your bedroom or time consuming as making a GTFC video.  Keep slogging away Matt, I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you Matt.

My Mother in law is currently undergoing treatment for terminal lung cancer and has an attitude similar to Matt - the moment you let cancer win, you might as well jump in your box.Keep positive Matt and make every single day, the potential achievement of a dream! We are all behind you ! Keep the faith mate and fight the illegitimate ! You WILL pull through - Best wishes Mike
