That's a pretty devastating blow after the good news of the transfer and loan back earlier this week
We are looking weak as pish up front now.
Essel to make an efl start maybe? I assume orsi injured and taylor not fit to start still? Isn't wearne not fit to start either.

Think we have a.number of players who could at a push play up front (wearne, Khan, kiernan,jmd maybe) so that push has already come , see how many of them are fit?

I think it probably is by now DB. Better training facilities, more support staff, increasing fan base, stable managerial team, well respected youth set up and forward thinking owners. Plus more barbers and charity shops per square foot on Freeman Street than anywhere else in the UK.


And a hoover shop!  How that's still there beats me.  Not many towns can say they have a dedicated hoover shop. Up the Freemo!

jeez, jmd had an absolute mare on saturday, thought kiernan looked a bog standard div 2 player, and essel is 18(?) and couldn't even get a game at n.l. level.
I'm hoping we pack the defence and end up with an awful 0-0 draw!

Something tells me they have an inclin that it'll be January ish he's back so he'll see out the first few months of his recovery here before going to Luton

Given what Stocko said about the importance of the loan back in doing the deal, I'd be surprised if there was a recall clause, although obvs that's a complete guess.

It does a bit, there is no point in denying it, assuming he does indeed have to have the op. Presumably, in a straightforward transfer, we would have got more money and the shoulder becomes Luton's problem.

We can only hope the specialist says an operation isn't necessary but if it popped out during the first few seconds of the first game then that seems unlikely.

Didn’t pop out during pre season at all and it popped straight back in. In an ideal world, it’ll be manageable throughout the season and he’ll have the operation during the close season, as it’ll likely be much, much longer this year!
