I didn't think I could feel any more contempt for them but...

This week Jenrick ordered cartoon murals (Mickey Mouse, Jungle Book, Tom and Jerry)  in a centre for unaccompanied child asylum seekers in Kent to be painted over because it was too welcoming.

As each day arrives, the spite, horror and depraved incompetency of these people shows itself. In 50 years, I’ve never known anything even remotely like it.
When I was growing up and learning about politics and economics, there were tories who were ideologically different to my emerging views, but they were decent, conscientious, well intended public servants who displayed, at times, at least a shred of humanity and integrity . Now - just ghouls. Mean spirited, dishonourable, hateful ghouls.

That's the story from a couple of years ago when he unlawfully let a Tory donor off tens of millions of costs by incorrectly granting planning permission. If you wanted an example of everything that is wrong with the Tories and the right-wing media, you'd struggle to find anyone who encompasses it quite so well as this shyster. The man's a disgrace who continues to fail upwards due to a complete lack of shame or moral fibre. That's what the best schooling gets you I suppose. Absolute vermin.

This is the same membership group that put Liz Truss in power and was absolutely wetting themselves over Penny Mordaunt because she held a big sword for a bit.

I wouldn't entrust them to order my tea, never mind anything else.

Braverman appeals to the bigoted element of membership, who the Mail and Express types are always so happy enough to whip into a frenzy about boats.  I also think those Tory MP's with any sense will steer well clear of it because right now it's beyond repair.  She's arrogant enough, just like Truss and Sunak were, to think she can turn it around just by saying stupid catchphrases.
