Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
7.5/10

Five long-time friends are invited to the Greek island home of billionaire Miles Bron. All five know Bron from way back and owe their current wealth, fame and careers to him. The main event is a murder weekend game with Bron to be the victim. In reality, they all have reasons to kill him. Also invited is Benoit Blanc, the world's greatest detective.

Let me say this from the outset this is not as good as Knives Out. It has a similarly stellar cast but doesn’t quite live up to the standards of the first film. However, it’s still a fun movie to watch that kept me entertained throughout. There will be more of these and I will look forward to them as I did both of the first 2 movies.

The Guard is a cracking film but I haven't seen Calvary, so that's another for my list, especially as it contains Kelly Reilly.

It’s definitely worth a watch Ginny and Kelly Reilly is the icing on the cake in anything she’s in-I’m in agreement with you there for sure. She’s absolutely brilliant in Yellowstone as Beth Dutton (apologies if I you’ve seen it) a great character played superbly well.

The Yellowstone universe Taylor Sheridan has created is brilliant, but for me, that character is getting incredible tiresome now!

In all seriousness each to their own of course and I may be blinkered on this issue but I still love her character.
Taylor Sheridan is absolutely brilliant mind and there I agree with you totally. He makes brilliant TV and films and in particular Wind River and Hell or High Water are outstanding.

I just feel like her character has barely developed at all since the early series where her attitude and fire was good to watch, know it’s just abit predictable.

Sheridans CV outrageous -   I’ve pretty much loved everything he’s done, without actually knowing it was all him until after really getting into Yellowstone. I watched Wind River again a few weeks ago and you realise half the cast of Yellowstone are in it!

Kelly's acting chops are a secondary concern for me.

I haven’t got to it yet, along with his other new one Tulsa King. Would you recommend?

Just sitting down to watch the first two episodes of 1923.

Yeah I would definitely recommend MoK and would be shocked if you didn’t like it. There’s a new season mid January too. 1923 and Tulsa King are on my watchlist but I’m going to wait until I can binge them.

Speaking of waiting to binge a series-have you watched Pennyworth yet Ginny?
