Scunny may have a smaller catchment area for supporters, given the bigger places on the outskirts of Grimsby/Cleethorpes but half of Scunny’s catchment area isn’t in the North Sea which is part of our problem!

I've wasted my life in black and white, a pathetic act for a worthless cause

With bonfire night just around the corner I saw the perfect clothing for a Guy Fawkes figure to wear when it is being torched.

In a charity shop down St Peters Ave they have a Scunny shirt for sale. I was nearly tempted to buy it myself, just to tear it up and use it as rags for washing the car, but they were asking £10 for it. Now even I have a limit on the price of rags.

Hmmmm....let me think....I wonder if they will sell it locally?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

They would maybe have had a coach to Liverpool, though there might even be a train on Boxing Day in those days on the main Manchester line. Footballers were not the only people who worked over Christmas. My uncle was an engine driver at Wakefield and they would go down to the sheds and light the firebox and do the oiling even if they were not due to run that day.

In an age when wages were that low that overtime was created to boost income, World wide competition stopped all that and meant that our goods had to be more competitive and our industry leaner.
Whats that got to do with football, I'm fxxk if you know
