Considering its been going on for about a year
Considering he's got 2 strikers in Hanson & Ogbu that he has tried to sign for 6-12 months, and finally got them

I think he's on an ultimate high at the moment

and given his background i suspect he'll be far more comfortable dealing with the likes of Shutes and Ross than the penny piching, control freakery regime of Fenty

Yes I’ve a picture of them together though they’re both scrubbed out but it’s them, honestly, I think...

they are definitely connected via the Gy Regeneration Board, and one of the better informed Facebookers say they go way back (maybe old school pals. There is also the intriguing coincidence that in 2009 Charles Dunstone (Ross' partner at Carphone Warehouse) married Celia SHUTE (no S according to pres reports at the time). Given how unusual the surname is, one wonders whether that was a spelling mistake and that Celia and Tom are related, although she is consistently named Celia Gordon Shute

Seems I’m alone in being a ‘green ticker’ on this PP. Forza may well be right that MJ could be more comfortable working with the likes of Shutses than Fenty, but any new boss has different ideas, so MH would only be human to wonder. It’s then a question of how he deals with this thought. I’d imagine Jolley would be quite analytical, acknowledge then park any concern and conclude his best course is to carry on as he was and do his best. Oh and make sure his contact book is up to date.

Why does it put more pressure on Fenty? He wants out so any other media coverage makes no difference. It appears that it could be all " done and dusted " by the start of the season but as long as it happens is all that matters.

There are a number of others online with the Gordon Shute surname, I think it’s just a coincidence. Hopefully there is a connection though.
