Butty, I don't know where you're going with this or what you're trying to prove. You posted a few pages back "Sadly I'm afraid it's all tosh apparently"
Today Fenty is in the GET saying talksHAVE been held. With Shutes. That is not tosh by any means and no amount of inboxing you will change that.
Yeah well Shutes approached them a year ago essentially said I want to buy club build new stadium and regenerate GY etc - club said 'great' but since then he has failed to 'show the money'. The club seem to think that it is him who has told the media. But unless something has changed very recently, or Fenty is Keeping people in the dark, the club think he's 'a time waster' - so yes it's not entirely tosh, I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag right away so to speak. But the idea that it has all been agreed etc and that he has passed test is 'tosh'

Well as it stands , the Grim Tel needs to either corroborate what it published or update the story with the correct information. Someone has got this wrong and has not stated the correct facts, possibly with no ill intent.

Such a loss? Has he said that?
Yes. At a shareholders meeting a couple of years ago. It was something along the lines of 'no previous owner has had to write off loans so why should I?'. The shareholding is in addition to the loans. To buy him out completely you would need to buy out both. I think the outstanding loan balance is still close to £2mill. As for assets, what is Blundell Park worth? The site is probably around four acres or so. If it were sold for building land it would be worth around £600k to £800k at current market rates, but that is after getting planning consent, which would probably cost at least £50k, and the demolition of the stadium which would also cost thousands. So the net value of the ground is far less than the loans and shareholding. That means that the best way of getting the loans, or some of them back, is to do a deal with a new owner, rather than put the club into administration. Not that JF, to his credit, has ever suggested he would do that. But it looks very much like getting cash from the new owners would be the best way of cutting losses.

Someone put earlier that shutes is only worth just under 1.5 mill . so i am wondering if he is hoping to get his fingers in to the developing the freemo area to earn more cash to make it easier. for him to get the cash.. Something along the lines of the parkway thing where the houses would bring in the cash to pay for it. i have been in business most of my life.. small tho, but when you want to buy something the first thing you ask is how much,,,and you know from the answer if you can afford it out of your pocket. And that makes me wonder if he has the funds to hand without some lash up some how

Butty. You’re coming across as a bit of a helmet to be honest. Your story changes more than the weather during a standard British summer.

Wood will hide behind his source a la Matt Dean. If Shutes is spooked by untimely publicity our thirst for info will have been counterproductive. Keep your powder dry Liam!

Sounds like there’s deep, dark and sad story behind that Hagrid 😂
