What bullshit would that be? As far as I know ( and nothing to the contrary has been announced ) the new stadium is still on the cards. Although nothing has been announced of late it doesn't mean things aren't progressing in the background.

There never has been and never will be a new stadium.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

I think it existed OK but only in Fenty's dreams what is certain is that it will never happen (we won't need it in the Lindsey Sunday league anyway)

Despite everything that has gone on this season Mike Jolley as taken on a club totally in the shat both on and off the field.

Without a doubt, the board did not want to get rid of Slade so bringing Jolley in was never planned for.

The very least we can do is give the man a loud warm Grimsby welcome.

Never understand the appeal of a 'young hungry' manager or whatever it is you want to call it.

Yes, everyone has to start somewhere, but he has NO experience of English professional football.

Another cheap appointment from Fenty. It's a risk, one that could pay off of course, but not one worth taking in my view.

Nope, they brought the stands from Abbey Park.
Cost cutting even in those days.

Virtually no one had heard of Arsene Wenger when he came to Arsenal

Just saying....

Delighted at this appt - it's a gamble but isn't every appt?

Cowleys at Lincoln - turned out brilliantly for them but could easily have gone belly up

I'm just pleased it's not Sol Campbell - never was going to be IMO - and/or one off the merry go round

This guy is 40, ambitious, has great coaching skills, and is obviously keen to put his mark on the game in England

Reading about his philosophy he favours a 4 3 3 high pressing game, high tempo and an 'exciting' brand of footy

On that basis we will have a few surprises next Saturday in the starting XI

Although he will have is work cut out with this squad

Do you have links to any articles online regarding his philosophy/tactics etc mate?
