Only the riders tickets were refunded, not support or any other tickets bought,

i hope the ride does go ahead. just watching the news on the lake district run brings me nightmares!

i wonder if it would be worth doing 'are you interested in riding' with these options-

yes 'i'd ride form SB to BP'
yes 'i'd ride from BP to BP'
no

doing the same on the vital site too and this way gain an actual number rather than 'a lot of interest'

if there is only a few wanting to do it from the BP end then it may be worth using the mini buses etc. to transport everyone to SB to set of together rather than the case from this year where only 5 riders set off together.

I'm really looking forward to it. Hope it goes ahead despite the doubt over weather conditions, I can't see why it should be too much of a problem unless there is snow and ice on the roads.

Also i would prefer to cycle from SB to BP rather than meet the Lincoln riders half way

We are going to plan for every eventuallty including 12pm and 3pm kick off times so it can be changed late on.
We will also look at ways to help people start at sincil bank on the day.
