You can flip that and say that figure applies to some  left wingers as it does to the right( both people can get entrenched in their own ideologies myself included) . Incidentally I was left wing ,then right and now Iam down the middle with a slight leaning to the leftist side due to the green party representing what I feel most passionate about( looking after our planet).
