So if we stream ourselves,  does that mean we can't see away games that use ifollow?

I cannot see an away club letting GTFC stream from their ground so I would just expect to still have to have an account with ifollow to watch away games I couldn't get to.

I just think the Club should stay with IFollow because by the look of it the rules are set in stone
Which other EFL teams have an equivalent to Ifollow and if it was easy I think more would have done it by now👍

Unless you used a VPN to mask your location.

I couldn't condone the use of a VPN.  Programs like Cyberghost, NordVPN, ExpressVPN should not be able to bypass the blackout at a relatively low cost or even a free trial.

Disgusting.

iFollow is just a platform used by League clubs to streem matches under the SkyBet deal. You can use your own platform and still get home and away games.

eg, We are playing Swindon away, swindon do not own the rights to broadcast/streem the match, SkyBet do. So SkyBet allow all clubs to streem all of their games.

Like the 26 clubs in the EFL that last season opted not to use iFollow?

It's a platform that clubs don't like and the numbers that are moving away from it is increasing.

Leyton Orient do a nice streaming package with pre-match build-up, post-match reaction etc. Here’s a snippet of it; admittedly not quite as polished as a professional TV production but it would be great if we could replicate something along similar lines.

But the match still has to be filmed by someone and I still say that home clubs wouldn't allow a visiting camera crew in to film/stream the game so whether it be ifollow or some other service you would still have to subscribe to the home clubs service.

Under EFL rules home clubs only have to provide a spot for the away analyst to film from.
