So you're contributing to the problem you were just lamenting  .

Except that I am not lamenting it, haven't seen too much wrong with the plan tbh.

The club have shifted their initial allocation in super quick time, just because some season ticket holders couldn't get to a phone or connect to the Internet to order theirs suggests they weren't that bothered about going to Donny

Sorry cloudy but I completely disagree.

The club has always had a system of allocating tickets for high demand away games in a way similar to this:

Season ticket holders (the individual that actually owns the ticket and say plus one)

Stub holders/Trust members

Stub holders from the next game if there is one.

General sale if any remain.

Obviously that's a rough estimation of how the system works but how can you possibly argue against the fact that there must be hundreds if not thousands of people now with tickets that haven't had to go to the Carlisle game, haven't had to join the trust and they basically haven't had to show an ounce of loyalty to the club all season because apparently the benefits of buying a season ticket now extend to FOUR people?!!

I'm just absolutely baffled as to how the club have messed this up so badly, they've clearly massively underestimated demand for tickets and have now probably cost a large number of regular fans their chance of going to the game.

Saying 'you must know somebody with a season ticket' is an absolute kopout of an excuse, what if you don't know somebody?! Some people just like to go to the match and keep themselves to themselves you know, not everybody has a season ticket holder in their social circle and the mere fact that people are offering that as a solution just magnifies how much of an epic balls'up this whole situation really is!!

No it`s not a joke and GTFC have done nothing wrong they had 3k tickets to sell and they have sold them.

I can`t see what the problem is I have a ST and bought 3 and I bet plenty of other STH never bought all 4.As a long standing Town fan whenever I have wanted to attend a particular game where it was likely to have a demand I have gone and got my ticket day 1 because the tickets sell fast.I know that it never catches me out so how anyone other than the exiles can have a gripe over the tickets and the fact they have sold out I am baffled you get your arris in gear and get the tickets ASAP job done.If I never had a ST I would have gotten hold of a mate who had a ST and asked them to get me one which is what hundreds have others have done judging by the ticket sales.Lastly no need to panic Donny will give Town another 1200 it makes no sense at all not to do this and again if they don't get a ticket pay in the Donny end where their will be ample room.Pretty sure people are just belly aching for the sake of it.UTM

Can't agree with you at all on this. So what you are saying is that as long as the club sell the tickets it is job done ??  Fucck the loyal customers as long as ST holder can take 3 of his mates for a Christmas Jolly.  Will the ST holder be getting his/her 3 mates to come to the Pompey game, or more to the point, Colchester at home midweek ?  I go to at least 90% of home games but as I never know which games my lad can make I don't buy a ST.  Of course ST holders should get first dibs.  And rightly so more than one per ST, as I've stated before, if going away it's nice not to be going on your own.
But 2 per ST would have been fine. Like most non ST holders I have been caught out by the demand as I was more than confident my Carlisle stub would be suffice to get a ticket. We all know that there is no perfect solution for selling tickets and the club will always come under fire from some quarters whatever they do.  But in this case I do believe they have got it wrong.  If my belly aching causes the club to think next time this situation arises then it has not been in vain. The 'no need to panic' was muted quite a lot on the initial sale of tickets, but at this moment I am getting slightly perturbed !!!

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

So you think it's acceptable for fans who've waited their turn with stubs/trust memberships etc to miss out at the expense of people who've essentially jumped the que entirely because they happen to know a season ticket holder?

I don't own a season ticket and fully understand that those who do should be first in line for tickets, but how on earth does that extend to three other people when demand is clearly so large?

People will use anything to rant about the club.

i suppose all of you who haven't managed to get a ticket have actually tried, rather sit and moan on here?

i agree that selling 4x ST is maybe too many, however i had a season ticket last season with my little brother, but would go to away games with 2-3 extra's

i have never understood why people choose to abuse the club they claim to love?

I would have gotten you and your lad one no problem and you know that (though that`s not really your issue reading the above).
The Season ticket holders are by and large the loyal customers they make up over 60% of the average home gates.
As for your belly aching you should stay out of ale houses like the one in Derby
Seriously though mate if you feel that strongly call a meeting with Kristine Green and see if she can address your concerns through the proper channels.
To clarify games like this are the one perk having a Season ticket affords you.Any STH living locally who says they have missed out on a ticket to Donny are either full of excrement or very badly organised.
