Yes they were but they had 3000 tickets and not 900. I can't believe STHs are whinging about not getting tickets when it was obvious by Monday lunchtime that the initial allocation would go very quickly. Not answering/killing the phones is out of order though by the club. It makes sense that they are serving in shop customers first but that should have been properly publicised and not just posted on a (closed) facebook group.

About ten people queuing outside the office now (myself included!). Luckily, the sun is out so it's not too chilly.

Its evident that there are lots of people and STH being let down by this I would hope the club could come out and make some form of statement on the 4 tickets to STH rationale...............I live in hope of course.

I was queueing for just under an hour and the queue was about the same size as it was when i joined it at 8.50 as when i left the ticket office but seemed to be going down, so there may be online tickets available. Some were getting multiple tickets with several ST's but i couldn't manage to blag any more. All my contacts had already used theirs and were also trying to get extra. Wish i could have got more for those in need.

Can everyone stop whinging? Everyone who wants to go to the game will get a ticket. We've got 3 season tickets and bought 6 tickets. However, when I didn't have a season ticket I don't recall ever not managing to get a ticket to a game I wanted to go to.

I think you may be right. I expect there was a bit of panic buying going on and there will be tickets for sale in the next week or so when some realise they can't make it after all. Was talking to a lad i know in the queue who was there getting tickets for others (already has his own) and he doesn't know yet whether he can get time off work to go.

After dialling I don't know how many times this morning I just got through and they've taken my ST details over the phone so thankfully I'm now sorted ( well until I try to pick them up on Saturday...need to show my ST and stub C )
