I just had a look at the Donny forum and a couple of theirs are already saying it's only Grimsby ect and that they don't see it as being any bigger as any other game this seasons .
This reminds me of Lincoln's usual excusefest every time we played them.
Apart from a brief period over the last ten years Donny have always been a poorly supported club for the size of the town , They was just lucky enough to have a decent supportive local council that helped them get a decent stadium , If they fail to bounce back up this season they'll go back to the sub 2000 crowds that I always remember them getting in the 80s and 90s

I should imagine that a lot of them went to see Yorkshire's national team back in those days.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

To sell our initial allocation out in 3 days would be incredible. When was the last time we took over 3000 to an away league game?

I remember when we went there and was put in the cage, Donny only had just over 1,000. Donny has always been a Leeds spill over and if it wasn't for the investment and new ground they'd probably be non league right now.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.

They're not well positioned. Too near much bigger clubs like Leeds, Shef Utd and Wednesday, as for us there's no where along that east coast so they support us.

I've wasted my life in black and white, a pathetic act for a worthless cause

Other than geography are we really bothered about them? Not played them in the league for over 25 years have we?
