I remember when we took I think nearly 12,000 on Tuesday night 25th April 1972, great crowd but crap result, we lost 2-1, but then went on to win the last two games against Peterborough and Exeter to win the league.

Remember going to belle Vue a few times and what a excrement hole even for them days, they always struggled to get more than a few thousand.
I can remember a really good game when they came here about 89 think it was a cup game and town won when the town fans stormed the pitch at the end and went straight over to the rovers fans who excrement themselves, didn't get much better for them outside remember seeing one of there mini buses down Grimsby road opposite Ramsdens smashed to smithereens. Good old days.
