The total cost of this trip (fees aside and all that argument)is clearly going to exclude a lot of Town's most faithful.

I think you're wrong there, I think the vast majority of the diehards will be there, of course. It'll be the daytrippers who probably last went to a Town game the last time we were at Wembley that it will have put off.

Currently en route to Westminster, took the risk and booked a weekend in London few months back with the girlfriend. See most of you at the square on Sunday. UTM

I can see that too. Some people will make it at any, and all cost, clearly. My point wasn't so much about the numbers going - it was more the fact of the overall cost in hard times. Even if you do the trip in a day you're probably not going to see too much change from £120, especially with a few sherberts thrown in. In these times 120 quid is nothing to some and a huge amount to many.

Exactly, I made this comment several pages ago. There are a lot of people I would imagine who are dying to get to the game on Sunday, but without taking out a payday loan or not eating next week they won't be able to afford it. It is a crying shame that so many genuine fans cannot attend on Sunday through no fault of their own.

Hopefully anyone not able to get will find a TV and cheer the team on from their living room/pub/Nicoles!

Maybe I'm just living in my own little bubble but I felt that there would have been a bit more car sharing going on or even moves to arrange a subsidised coach or two to help people out. This game could have a much bigger impact on the economic and social well being of the town than the cost of a few coaches....... Sorry, forgot we're living in Ca-morons Britain for the foreseeable.

OK probably getting a bit too serious for some -Maaaaaaarrrrrinnnnnnerrrrrrs, Maaaaaaarrrrrinnnnnnerrrrrrs

I don't live in GY so not sure what offers have been made available. It would have been a perfect opportunity for coach companies to do as you say and offer discounts etc...

win win for everyone!

Pretty disappointed with 12500 tbh.

This is a massive game and anything below 15k is urine poor imo.
