The home game against Barnet was live on TV, the away game wasn't.

My mistake! I still maintain we'd definitely take over 2000 to a play off final, even if it was away.

It's about three times our average home gate this season and still rising. Hardly shocking. Can't see why peeps are getting stressed about how many we are taking.

totally agree. I guess it's just because BR are going to take a lot more. There's no need to turn everything in to a battle. They've won that one and were always going to. If we were playing FGR then we'd all be moaning about the likely lack of atmosphere. I think 15k would be pretty good personally.

Only a small word but enough to indicate there are other options for selling them.

Quite.

However the Conference twitter account stated that there is NO option for clubs selling tickets as it's not feasible.  Their words, not mine.  This contradicts their own rules.

I can see both sides of the argument for and against Wembley. However, if it wasn't at Wembley having it at Villa Park etc would be crap as the floaters would not come out in the numbers we have seen when we have been to Wembley.

If not at Wembley I would favour a two legged final. Which would also soften the blow (a bit) should your team lose in the final and also gives you a second chance should you mess it up in he first leg.

The trouble with floaters is that once they are out in numbers they are quite hard to get rid of.

I just can't understand how we can take 18k to Wembley for a meaningless fa trophy game yet we might just get close to 15k for the most important game for grimsby town in recent years.

Anyone thinking its expensive yes it is but we always moan we hate the conference well get to Wembley and support the team in this massive game they need you.

First off the Trophy although in the end was live on TV it wasn't scheduled to be at the time the tickets were sold, secondly I would still maintain that not being able to buy the tickets originally from BP have put quite a few off, I know they can now but it is leaving it late to make arrangements.

Those that do make it I am sure will make a lot of noise, so lets not keep getting hung up about how many make it, yes of course the more the better but let those that do go sing our hearts out.

I hear that See Tickets are now e-mailing tickets bought in the neutral area with Bristol addresses telling them their tickets are invalid and they need to swap them for new ones in level 2 in the Bristol end on the day, so they couldn't have released all the Level 2 Bristol tickets as they were apparently sold out.

It had been a few years since we'd been to Wembley last time. My Mrs wanted to go last time, she's not a football fan and isn't bothered about going this time. Let's face it, the attendance is only a number. If you're a real fan you're going to be there and that's where all the noise comes from.
